Welcome back to the podcast for soulful women in business. This week we are going to be finding out how I manifested using vision board technique and the Art of Manifestation tools that I teach inside of my business collective to manifest Stacey Dooley at our up and coming event Soul Speaks

in October the 18th and the 19th located in the i360 that is the I 360 and yes, we are going to be having parts of the event in the flight deck. Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share with you how that all came about. But first of all, I just wanted to speak about The power of face to face networking, or cross pollination as I like to call it, and the power of building a [00:01:00] movement with your brand.

Let's get into it.

In a world full of digital noise, there is one thing that cuts through it all.

And that is the power of the human connection. There is nothing better. I've never been to an event where I'm in person, whether that's a networking event or an event where I'm learning the tools to elevate my business, my brand and my visibility. In person is the one, and I'm not talking about those events where you just fill up your notepad, go home and put the book in a drawer and forget about it.

Oh, no, I'm talking about the types of events where you personally walk out the door and you know that something inside of you has shifted. [00:02:00] Networking and events are so different because we are bringing in and calling in conscious leaders to activate within themselves with the how to proven strategies that work and that have built my clients six, seven, figure businesses.

Just like one of my clients that regularly attends the event. I'm going to change her name. Let's call her Sarah. The first time she attended the event, she was struggling with massive imposter syndrome. Being a room full of incredible leaders made her feel like she shouldn't be there and that her voice wasn't important.

And through joining the collective, she has now elevated her voice. And she now goes out and teaches in corporate environments about her business, which is all about wellness and looking after your health.

What if I told you that the most successful businesses aren't just [00:03:00] profitable, which of course is massively important, but these, but the industry leaders that I'm connected with? They are women that are. running purpose driven businesses that make them feel fulfilled. Let's define what that means. It means that you are not just in the business to make money and to maximize profit or to be seen because you're trying to prove something.

It is coming from a place where you are trying to make a difference, where you are making a difference. And that is you pouring into the world and the world is then pouring into you. It's this elevation of who you are being, not what you are doing.

So this is the types of communities that I want to build, and the reason that I wanted to [00:04:00] do that is because I've been there. I've been there where I didn't feel important. If you've been listening to the podcast for quite some time, every single stage of my business, I've had to strip away limiting beliefs.

I've had to overcome stage fright, but every step of the way, The thought of supporting women globally and the thought of making an impact to somebody's life has massively outweighed the fears and the limiting beliefs that stood in my way. And that's why I see myself as this successful business woman today.

Not just because of the figures that I make, but because of the stories and the impacts that I make in my clients lives. And I know that if you're listening to this, that is you. You know that you want to make that impact and you just want to connect with like minded people [00:05:00] that get your kinks and your quirks and you want to, make your business consistently profitable.

None of that feast and famine, which is what in my world are focused on. Okay. So let's get into how I manifested the most incredible event for conscious female founders in the UK that is happening so so soon. And I've been talking about it. If you've been in my community spaces, if you come to my networking events, if you are a client, you will have known about this for a very long time, but let's get into it.

So in November last year, after I had attended a And it was a speaker at a global summit. I wasn't that impressed with the way that they had run it. I felt as though it was run [00:06:00] by a female founder, that although she said that she stood for empowerment, it felt like she was being trained in that old patriarchal way.

And that got a fuel inside of me burning. And I had this real strong download. As some of I'm clairsopient. I have inner visions, inner knowings, and I sometimes have this really loud intuition. And this intuition said to me, Laura, you need to forge a new path for female leaders. You need to find a new way that women can have the profitable business, they can stand on [00:07:00] stages and they can fulfill their soul's purpose without having to feel like they need to minimize others.

And they can really step into that place of true richness and abundance. So I began. I created the networking events and the people started pouring in. The incredible women from all over the South East started pouring in. And it wasn't like a networking event that I'd ever been to before. It wasn't women trying to sell something to each other.

It was women building a community, a connection, and leaving that room feeling massively empowered to go out and lead in their unique way. And that's where I saw the vision of this [00:08:00] incredible event for the summit. And as I was driving along one day and I was looking for venues and I was thinking how are we going to make this so that it is unforgettable.

And the first part of the puzzle was put into place where I decided that I really wanted to give something back to young women. Like that young woman I was between the ages of 14 to 20. where I felt completely lost, I felt completely detached from my body. And although on the outside I may have looked confident, inside I felt empty.

And for years, I've wanted to go into schools and to speak to these young women to let them know that it doesn't have to be this way. And to find that confidence within instead of seeking without. [00:09:00] And that is when I actually saw somebody that I'd met at a night out with my husband back in last summer and we got chatting and I told her about the event and she recommended a dance troupe, the female project, and we're going to be talking to the She is the owner of the Female Project across the coming weeks, so be sure to listen to that.

And she runs a business where she supports

young women that struggle with low self esteem or mental health to get back into their body with the movement of dance and then create these dances with a meaning and a purpose and I freaking love that. They're telling a story with their dance. And then I've got the idea of contacting [00:10:00] all of the local universities and colleges.

How can we get a panel of these young women to help us that work in the social media arena to support them with dance? Them talking about how it affects them when we use things like filters, how it affects them when these celebrities are endorsing these products that are actually harming them. How can we address these problems that we are facing for our daughters?

Because I know that I'm afraid of my daughter and Getting to the age where she's on social media and comparing herself to unrealistic images. And it's something that we all need to address. I'm really looking forward to that panel. And then, later down the line, I was driving along [00:11:00] again, and I was thinking about a way that we can really elevate the event With inviting in a celebrity speaker.

So at my networking events I kept telling my, at my networking events we always talk about the ways in which we, what are we calling in and what are we no longer available for. And at this particular event, I said that I was calling in a big brand name to support the event. And sponsors. And getting chatting to a friend that works in PR.

Interestingly, we set up a call and we were talking through some different celebrity speakers. And at this point, I had completely forgotten about something that happened to me four years ago, which I'll get into [00:12:00] in a minute. And she said What about Stacey Dooley? I think Stacey Dooley would be really good for this because of her connection to dance through winning Strictly with her previous famous documentary series that followed the British fashion consumers as they traveled to India to work alongside women making garments and clothes that are for high street stores, which made her famous. And I feel like it really tied in, but as we were talking, as she said, what about Stacey Dooley?

I turned and faced in my office and looked at my vision board and I remembered that she, her face had been on my vision board for four years. And the reason that her face was on my vision board, which I had [00:13:00] forgotten about, is because four years ago, me and My now husband Nick and my son Riley were approached through Instagram by a production company and this production company found me through hashtags and wanted to pilot us for the show Stacey Dooley's Sleepover.

So we went through a series of interviews and a process to Get onto that show, because I was a spiritual mum, and they wanted to feature people that have children and do things differently. I don't know whether you've watched it before, but it's actually really funny. Stacey, talks to challenging subjects and because of her cheek and her wit, she's able to do that really elegantly and I believe that I have lots of similarities to that and [00:14:00] I admire her 

I'm inspired by her for that. I laughed. and she said that she had a contact and she contacted her and she said yes straight away. And when she came back to me, my friend who works in PR came back to me, she was an instant yes. I was just like, that moment had a little internal dance of Thank you universe because Manifestation really does work.

 I want to break down why that really worked and why sometimes things that you are trying to manifest really feel like this big friction, which I have spoken about on this podcast before, but I just wanted to remind you. The way that I manifested Stacey is I put her onto the vision board because I just knew, deep in my heart and soul, [00:15:00] one day we were gonna meet, and I can't explain it, but I just knew.

And then I did my normal manifestation tools, which are To write a letter to my future self and write the details in, burn it in the moonlight. And just know that it's going to happen. It's not oh I want this to happen, I need this to happen. It's like this inner knowing and this inner trust that you know, but you just don't know how it's going to happen.

 Then I forgot about it. I got on with my life. But it was there and every now and then I'd look at it and I'd smile and I'd think, how is that going to happen? And it was effortless. It didn't feel a struggle. It was easy. I'm really excited to talk to Stacey herself about this because to [00:16:00] Be a speaker at the SoulSpeak Summit in Brighton.

You need to have that conscious connection. You need to understand the tools of manifestation and you need to have an awareness, a conscious awareness and Stacey has that and I'm really looking forward to her sharing tangible tools of that. And I'm also looking forward to asking her some questions that I don't feel that she's normally asked.

 I'm looking forward to asking her questions about how she runs her business, how she runs her business as a new mum, how she finds being in the public eye, These are all questions that I'm going to ask her so that she can show you how you can run your business because effectively she's a TV presenter, that's her job.

She has a big team, she has social media underneath all of that, she's just a [00:17:00] woman that decided to Dream big to be bold and to push herself out there. And she won. She's success and I can't wait to hear all about it. That is the event in October. I have something that is going to blow your socks off. Through people pleasing and a lack of that big visionary thinking style Because they're shrinking themselves down and as I've said so many times we are limitless And as a conscious leader myself I Get it as I said at the beginning of this podcast I've been there I was worried that people wouldn't take me seriously because of my kinks and because of me being a psychic.

But people love that.

I was also worried when one of my business mentors told me that I had to treble my prices. I was like, no one will ever pay that. And guess what? They did. I was afraid of standing on a [00:20:00] stage and that I was babbling on. Now I've had a podcast for three years coming up to. I really do get it. And the reason that I've created this three day event that is completely free with the blueprint that you need to create that profitable, sustainable business is because I care.
